Our mission goes beyond producing high-quality garments; it encompasses the empowerment of local talents, the nurturing of sustainable practices, and the fostering of a future where both people and the environment thrive.
That’s how our new initiative, C&D #MaishaBora, is born.
The name C&D #Maisha Bora comes from Swahili, the most spoken language in Africa, where “Maisha” means “Life” and “Bora” translates to “Better”. Together, “Maisha Bora” means "Better Life," a promise that echoes the foundation of our whole business, to respect nature and love people, and reflects our vision to grow and uplift every individual
connected to C&D.
C&D #Maisha Bora is about making real changes and improving lives. It’s about giving people dignity, respect, and chances to succeed. And it’s about happy families, strong communities, and a healthy environment.
These new initiatives contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), beginning by creating down-to-earth benefits including wages, human rights, workplace safety, ethical and equity practices for our workers and expanding to their families and society.
